Another great night of Nerd Beers has passed, and there’s much I could write about. Most importantly we got some details worked out around BackyardJS.
And thanks to Charles for pointing me to My Lawn by Uncle Bob. I wouldn’t say I’m there yet, but I’d like to think that’s my trajectory. While it’s all worth a read, the sentence that stood out to me was:
That leader can temper and curb the youthful enthusiasm that leads to premature decisions about frameworks and architectures.
It seems the default decision today is to use a framework, not whether one’s even needed.
