Looking through my analytics today, I saw a familiar name—my friend Eric Sherred has started writing 100 words a day. This is great, and I hope he sticks with it.

I would recommend this exercise to anybody, and it doesn’t have to be writing. If you’re a tennis fan, maybe you want to practice 100 serves a day; if you’re a musician, maybe you could practice a scale 100 times. (Both of these ideas are far worse than 100 words.)

Just find something you want to improve, and do a little bit of that for the next 100 days.
